Twine & Cordage commenced operations in 1950 and is the largest producer of twines in Zimbabwe including cotton, jute, sisal and polypropylene. The product range includes crochet yarn, bag stitching twine, candlewick, braided ropes and baling twine.

The factory situated in Harare, Zimbabwe, which employs 200 people, has invested heavily in machinery and is one of the most modern of its type in the region. New spinning equipment recently installed will ensure self sufficiency in cotton yarn requirements for years to come.

Twine & Cordage products are exported to Southern & East Africa, Canada, Europe and the Far East. The company's strong manufacturing base and versatility has allowed it to adapt and expand constantly into wide markets with new and existing products .

Securopac, established as a division of Twine & Cordage in 1992, manufactures polypropylene strapping under licence to Signode Corporations of USA. It offers a complete range of associated machines and tools with after sales services and repair facility. This division also markets steel strapping and pallet stretch wrap.
